Protestant Worship Leader

Job Description: Protestant Worship Leader Location: Altus Air Force Base (AFB) Chapel, Altus, OK Responsibilities Lead weekly Protestant worship service (Sundays 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM). Provide music for special services (funerals, memorials, Good Friday, Christmas Eve). Recruit, train, and rehearse a Worship Team of volunteer musicians/singers. Plan music with the Chaplain; submit lyrics 72 hours prior to services. Operate audio/visual systems and Proclaim presentation software. Qualifications At least 3 years’ recent experience as a Protestant Worship Leader or Musician. Ability to read music and play a lead instrument (guitar, piano, or keyboard). Skilled in vocal leadership and harmony. Familiar with multi-cultural, multi-denominational Protestant worship styles. Active church/chapel membership with letter of endorsement. Proficient in PowerPoint and Proclaim software; able to operate sound/AV equipment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
