Operating Room Clinical Coordinator (RN)

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8-Hour Shifts + Call

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Clinical Coordinator (RN) to help lead and support our Surgical Services team. This position is a great opportunity for a skilled OR nurse who enjoys collaborating with others, improving workflows, and making a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and team success in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

As the Operating Room Clinical Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting daily surgical operations and ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care by:

• Coordinating daily workflow and surgical case flow in the Operating Room
• Supporting and supervising OR nursing staff and surgical team members
• Ensuring adherence to clinical best practices, policies, and safety standards
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Helping resolve real-time operational and patient care needs
• Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence

• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Call required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Prior charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
