TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid compact or state nursing license Certifications: BLS (Required) ACLS (Preferred) Must-Have: Epic experience required Level 1 trauma or outpatient experience preferred PACU experience preferred Previous charge experience preferred Description: The position is for a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse. Scheduled shifts are 3 days per week from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Call is included, with requirements every third to fourth weekend. The unit handles a variety of procedures, including CABG, AAA repair, and TAVR. Patient ratios during the day shift are 1:1. Experience with the following skills is required: - Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair - Accessing and managing ports - Airway assessment - Anticoagulation therapy - Blood product administration - Central line care and management - Chest tube management - Interpretation of arterial blood gases - Starting and maintaining IVs - Phlebotomy - Vascular surgery This role includes caring for adult patients. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and pharmacy. A focus on high-quality patient care is essential.
