Project Manager

DCS is looking for a Project Manager with direct DoD, Government, and/or Federal experience. Essential Job Functions The applicant shall use knowledge of vehicle acquisition program(s) to provide services including administration support, project management, and technical development support. The applicant shall provide recommendations and technical advice in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, including the DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations and its supplements, and shall adhere to quality standards and reviews for project deliverables. The applicant shall be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and shall serve as a single point of contact for those projects, taking them from original concept through final implementation and interfacing with the organization and its customers. The applicant shall define the project scope and objectives based on organizational requirements; develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; conduct project meetings; and track and analyze project progress. The applicant shall manage taskers to ensure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and properly executed throughout the organization to guarantee timely, cohesive, and accurate execution of work. The applicant shall analyze information and data, assess the progress of programs, projects, and processes, provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team, recommend solutions to organizational leadership, and organize, manage, and present information, including oral recommendations. Required Skills U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements. Ability to obtain security clearance. A Master’s Degree in a specialized field plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in the specialized field plus 8 years of applicable experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 10 years, or a High School Diploma/GED with 16 years in any field and a minimum of 9 years of specialized experience. Experience with DoD Acquisitions, managing multiple engineering change proposals (ECPs), modification work orders (MWOs), and procurement work directives (PDs) associated with combat system survivability, lethality, cab, tracked chassis, and auxiliary systems. Overseeing a portfolio of concurrent projects, guiding cross‑functional teams (engineering, logistics, contracting, finance) from concept development through implementation and sustainment. Providing leadership with regular high‑level and detailed reports that show the status of cost, schedule, and performance of multiple individual efforts. Facilitating and leading project meetings, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones. Conducting comprehensive technical and financial analyses for multi‑million‑dollar equipment upgrades and modernization efforts. Background and knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs. Developing and managing project scope, scope of work (SOW)/work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, and master schedules. Monitoring engineering change proposals (ECPs), modification work orders (MWOs), and procurement directives (PDs) statuses until completion. Serving as the primary point of contact for projects, liaising effectively with military personnel, civilian leadership, external contractors, and various internal departments.
