CCS Licensed Inpatient Medical Coder

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time remote CCS Licensed Inpatient Medical Coder will review medical records, select appropriate diagnoses and procedures, and ensure accurate DRG assignments while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Key responsibilities Review medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures related to patient encounters Utilize Aquity applications to enter coded charts in real-time and solicit clarification from physicians on ambiguous documentation Participate in team meetings, training, and coding roundtables to maintain current knowledge and contribute to professional development Required qualifications CCS certification required Minimum of 3 years of current inpatient coding experience in a facility setting Experience coding for large acute care, Level 1 trauma centers preferred Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelines Proficiency in Google Suite and excellent written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
