Housekeeping Staff - Summer 2026

Coons Franklin Lodge is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeping Staff for the Summer of 2026. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our cabins and public areas, ensuring that our guests enjoy a pleasant and welcoming environment during their stay. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest cabins and communal spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing. Make beds and change linens, ensuring a tidy and comfortable space for guests. Restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms and common areas. Address guest requests and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist in laundry duties when required. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and a friendly attitude. Team player with the ability to work independently as needed. Benefits Room and Board: Dorm-style housing and three staff meals a day. The cost of room and board will be deducted from your paycheck at $65 per week. Employee Perks: We encourage staff to enjoy the surrounding Northwoods and resort activities while not working. The property includes trails for biking, jogging, and hiking, basketball courts with usage guidelines, a waterfront with docks for canoeing and kayaking, a 20% discounted golf pass at Trout Lake Golf Course, and a weekly yoga class led by staff. Staff may pre-register for yoga with Emily or Sarah. Getting Here and Getting Around: The lodge is located about 10 miles from Woodruff and Minocqua. Most guests drive; public transportation is limited and biking on highways is discouraged. Activities A trail winding throughout the resort property. Four tennis courts available for staff with proper attire and shoes. Waterfront access to boats, kayaks, and canoes; motor boats are not permitted. Golf at Trout Lake Golf Course, 2 miles north of the resort (20% discount). Yoga class in the lodge Tuesdays at 10:00 AM.
