MS Access Data Analyst

Requirements Must have: We require Texas residency. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Access databases and applications. We need strong SQL query skills for retrieval, validation, reporting, and analysis. We prefer candidates who can work with database design, maintenance, and performance tuning. We value experience identifying and resolving data quality, integrity, and consistency issues. We expect the ability to handle confidential student and district information with care. Responsibilities: We maintain, support, and troubleshoot existing Microsoft Access databases and applications. We create and update Access tables, queries, forms, reports, and relationships. We write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval, validation, reporting, and analysis. We assist with database design, upkeep, and performance improvements. We identify and resolve issues affecting data quality, integrity, and consistency. We import, export, clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources. We support databases containing student, enrollment, academic, and other district information. We help users with database-related issues and respond to support requests. We troubleshoot Microsoft Access application errors and data problems. We create and maintain reports for district departments and authorized users. We document database structures, processes, queries, reports, and procedures. We look for opportunities to automate or improve manual database workflows. We support data migrations, integrations, and database improvement initiatives as needed. We collaborate with IT staff, administrators, and district departments. We handle sensitive student and district information with a high degree of confidentiality and care. Company: We are hiring an MS Access Data Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting district IT staff and business users in a hybrid remote role based in San Antonio, Texas. The position offers pay of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour and focuses on databases and applications that manage student and operational data.
