Mechanical Subassembly and Final Pack Operator
Do you like building things the right way, the first time? Can you spot a flaw before it leaves the line? Join our Oconomowoc, WI 53066 team and take ownership of assembling to spec and packaging products so they reach customers perfectly intact.
Picture ThisOn a typical day (Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm), you review a work order, assemble parts exactly as specified, check your work against quality criteria, and prepare finished pieces for shipment with protective packing. You keep your area tidy, coordinate with teammates to meet throughput targets, and alert your supervisor as soon as something seems off. Along the way, you pick up new techniques through training that make the next build even smoother.
Your Impact- Assemble mechanical/electrical components precisely to documented standards.
- Perform quality checks at each step and on finished goods.
- Pack products securely to prevent in-transit damage.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workstation.
- Collaborate to meet production goals and schedules.
- Report issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Engage in training to expand your capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior assembly or packing exposure is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret instructions and work independently or with a team.
- Sharp attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Strength and stamina to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic problem-solving ability and initiative.
- Readiness to work overtime when required.
Proficiency in mechanical assembly.
Compensation & Schedule- Rate: $18/hour
- Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Location: Oconomowoc, WI 53066
