Job Title: Direct Support Professional Hourly Rate: $18.50 - $19.50/hr Shifts: PM Status: Full Time Locations: Monterey Park, CA; El Monte, CA (91735) Here's What You'll Do: The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being, serving as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients. Essential Functions Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients as written in Individual Program Plan. Assist clients with bathroom needs. Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up. Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary). Education and Experience 1 Year of experience working closely with individuals that have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Experience with high behaviors is a plus. First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – Preferred or willing to obtain. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a California Driver’s License. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
