Sr. Associate - Ramp Up
Postgres and Oracle DBA
6 to 8 years of experience. Required skills include Oracle and Postgres DB Admin. Nice to have skills include NoSQL.
Day shift: 9AM-7PM EST.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- 5+ years experience working with Postgres Databases, including all aspects of installation/configuration, performance tuning, etc.
- Advanced understanding of Linux OS
- Experience implementing high availability by setting up either streaming replication or logical replication and decoding
- Ability to troubleshoot methodically, identifying and applying fixes for known errors, and when necessary, capacity to think outside of the box to resolve complex issues
- Internals about VACCUM process - MVCC, Dead Tuple and Bloat, Auto Vaccum Parameters etc.
- Development DBA with Oracle skills
- Developing and reviewing database functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development
- Developing and reviewing SQL queries to support application development
- Managing and monitoring performance, capacity, and security of database systems
Primary location: USAZPHOC01 (ITUSA, Phoenix - AZ USA, CLT). No travel required.
