Currently in its third generation of family ownership and management, the company spans six states West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine with 19 branch locations./ppAnderson Equipments Service Intern program is designed to enable the employee to gain experience in the maintenance and repair of construction equipment. While this position lists only 4 of our branches, all 19 are eligible for this program./ppInterns will take directions from the Service Manager, Leadman, or experienced Service Technicians over the duration of the internship. Interns will be assigned work which will include, but not be limited to:/pulliPerform basic equipment maintenance./liliAssist other Service Technicians in more complicated repairs./liliPerform tasks such as: olliLoading and unloading machinery./liliCompleting check in and check out procedures./liliFueling equipment./liliSteam cleaning machines./liliOrganizing equipment and attachments in yard./li/ol/li/ulpThe goal of an internship is to expose the employee to new concepts and techniques while reinforcing subject matter covered in the individuals classwork./ppRequired Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma;/liliCurrently enrolled in a two or four-year accredited vocational college relevant to the repair and maintenance of construction equipment;/liliBasic familiarity of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems considered a plus;/liliBasic understanding of computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers./liliOwnership of adequate hand tools./li/ulpCompensation and Benefits:/pulliCompensation depends on location, experience/skills, overtime: $19.00-$24.00 per hour./liliThis is a temporary position. The Service Intern is not eligible for company provided benefits including Paid Time Off (PTO)./li/ul/div
