RN Hospice – After-Hours Weekend Program (Kenosha/Racine Area)

This one is built for nurses who like structure and steady weekend work. It's strictly after-hours hospice coverage with no ongoing caseload, so you're stepping into a role focused on immediate needs, visits, and support—nothing long-term to manage during the week.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Every Saturday and Sunday (no rotation—this is the weekend program)
• If a holiday falls on the weekend, you're expected to work it
• No on-call
• No floating

Role Overview

This is an after-hours hospice role, not a full case management position. You won't carry a caseload. Instead, you'll handle:

• Unplanned visits
• Urgent symptom management
• End-of-life support
• Family communication and updates
• Immediate needs that arise outside typical weekday coverage

Location

Coverage across the Kenosha and Racine areas. Home base listed as Milwaukee (Honey Creek Pkwy), but actual patient visits occur within the Kenosha/Racine region.

General Expectations

Ideal for a hospice RN who's steady under pressure, confident making independent clinical decisions, and comfortable supporting families during sensitive moments. No formal clinical interview required.
