Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on CPT or EAD for this position.About this opportunityThe Site Acquisition Manager III (SAM III) is a recognized leader in telecommunications site acquisition and deployment. Based in the US, this experienced-level role is accountable for all entitlement requirements across assigned sites and serves as the primary decision-maker on entitlement and pre-construction matters. The SAM III leads and mentors site acquisition teams and service providers, oversees real estate, zoning, permitting, and compliance activities, and acts as the escalation point for unresolved issues. This is an opportunity to shape strategy, drive project outcomes, and make a meaningful impact within a global technology leader operating in over 180 countries.What you will doAdvise on long- and short-term site acquisition strategies across markets, regions, and disciplines (NSB, Modifications, Small Cell, etc.)Provide level-of-effort estimates during pre-sales and early project phases to support budget developmentLead weekly deployment calls and deliver detailed site status reports to customers and project management teamsManage leasing, landlord consent, zoning, and permitting activities end-to-endOversee architecture and engineering (A&E) firms in producing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawingsObtain regulatory approvals (NEPA, SHPO, Phase 1, etc.) and manage the Notice to Proceed processIdentify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies to the Project Manager and customerAssess service provider performance and drive continuous improvementMaintain accurate records in applicable databases and ensure quality audit complianceThe skills you bring8 to 10 years of experience in telecommunications site acquisitionDemonstrated track record of managing diverse site acquisition deploymentsExtensive experience with Master Lease Agreement (MLA) partners and tower companiesStrong negotiation skills and expertise in reviewing contract languageIn-depth knowledge of real estate practices, telecommunications construction processes, and LTE network design fundamentalsExperience managing budgets with profit and loss responsibilityAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe AcrobatStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyWillingness to travel as requiredWhy join Ericsson?At Ericsson, youll have an outstanding opportunity. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date.
