Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

We’re looking for a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fleet vehicles while ensuring safety, reliability, and maximum uptime. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping vehicles operating at peak performance. About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fleet vehicles while ensuring safety, reliability, and maximum uptime. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues Perform mechanical repairs and ensure vehicles remain safe and operational Identify potential maintenance issues before they lead to downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Follow all safety, maintenance, and operating procedures Assist, guide, and mentor less experienced mechanics Support overall fleet reliability and operational readiness Qualifications Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field preferred Minimum 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience Basic computer skills Valid driver’s license required Brake Certification or Refrigerant Recovery Certification is a plus Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Stable work history preferred, ideally 1-2+ years with current employer Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Skills Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills Valid driver’s license required Preferred Skills Brake Certification or Refrigerant Recovery Certification is a plus Stable work history preferred, ideally 1-2+ years with current employer Pay range and compensation package Bonus Eligible Overtime Available Relocation Candidates Welcome Opportunity to grow your mechanical and fleet maintenance career Supportive team environment focused on safety and reliability Equal Opportunity Statement Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
