Who we are:

We are a mid-sized, privately owned company that specializes in providing care and education to kids ages 8 weeks, to the day they start Kindergarten. We are open Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm. We have over 10 years of success and are always looking to grow, improve, and achieve our goals. We truly care about those we employ, and the kids and families we provide services for. At Bright Beginnings of South Park, those who run the company and center are people who have worked in childcare and education for years and know how to best support great teachers and provide quality care. How we work as a team:

Our team is what carries us! We have an excellent group of experienced teachers who are always happy to have a new team member. We really work together to provide care for the children in the center. Everyone in the building is a co-teach, providing equal care and education. While most teachers work in the same room for the age group they prefer, some teachers work in many rooms, helping where needed. We want our teachers to feel supported by other teachers, and their management team. We have a Vice President, a Director, and an Assistant Director who manage the center and offer support, coaching, and assistance to any teacher, parent, or child who needs it. Everyone knows their roles and works together to do our number one job, providing the absolute best care to every single child and fostering them as an individual while ensuring parents are confident in allowing us to care for their kids.

A Teacher’s Role:

A teacher’s role is to ensure safety, care, and education to every child in their care. A great teacher is a self-starter who also asks questions, gets to know their students, and has an invested interest in operating a well-running classroom. Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and adaptability along with organization are must have skills!
A teacher will be able to create and carry out lesson plans based on children’s developmental level and interests. Teachers complete or assist kids with all areas of hygiene, growing independence, and fostering development; this includes feeding, diapering, nap times, circle times, indoor/outdoor play, etc. We work together equally to ensure transitions, activities, and routines are as smooth as possible for our students.
As Bright Beginnings of South Park Employees, our teachers always must maintain a commitment to dependability . More than anything, a teacher will always ensure the kids in their care are safe, well cared for, and having fun!

Bright Beginnings of South Park families are welcomed into our center by everyone in the building. Our families are really great and appreciate our teachers. Many families have had multiple children go through our program, and know our teachers work hard for them. Most parents enjoy getting to know their student’s teachers and take an interest in knowing what their kid’s day was like. At teacher must be able to communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental progress.

About our Facility:

We have 7 classrooms that have 2 teachers per room who operate as co-teachers. Our class size is never more than what requires 2 teachers to operate and count for ratio. The classrooms are separate rooms, and each built to best suit the age group they hold. Students transition to new rooms not just by age, but also by development. So teachers have an easier time creating activities, caring for, and ensuring safety of the students in the room. Our infants, and younger toddlers have 2 rooms per age group so kids can progress through the program based on their developmental level. We also have an older toddler room, a preschool room, and a pre-k room. Kids then leave our facility by the time they start Kindergarten.
We offer a separate playgrounds for each age group, and large “buggy” strollers for infants and young toddlers to ensure they get outside too!
Our facility is extremely safe, with a badging system to get into the parking lot, and the building itself. We also have several fences, outdoor and hallway camera systems, and many on site personnel to care for our building. Bright Beginnings of Sout Park is located on a site property that takes care of the building by offering maintenance, janitorial, and all upkeep, meaning teachers are truly that – teachers, and they will always have a safe, secure, well maintained and equipped facility for them to do their job well!

Who we are Seeking:

We are seeking qualified teachers – meaning you have experience working in a childcare facility with young children under school age level. Strong classroom management skills for young children and the ability to foster positive behavior while remaining dedicated to caring for their emotional and social development strategies is a must!
Our teachers MUST BE DEPENDABLE! Bright Beginnings of South Park employees are those who are dedicated, professional, caring, energetic, team oriented, motivated, communicative, and of course LOVE WORKING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN.
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain with our help at hiring all state requirements to work in an early learning center. In addition, employees must be able to get up and down from floor level frequently, be able to lift any children when needed, and per DHS regulation, ensure they can always provide proper supervision including hearing and keeping sight of all children in every setting.
Once employed, we offer everything needed to keep up with your file as required by the state, but every employee must do their part to ensure their requirements stay current.
We seek those that know, or are willing to learn state regulations – as we ALWAYS operate by DHS regulations while also providing best practices according to STARS and PA KEYS.
