Nurse - Full-Time - Porter County Juvenile Detention JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER NURSE SCHEDULE TBD, but will involve some weekends and evenings

SALARY: $71,889

Serves as Nurse for Porter County Juvenile Justice Services - Juvenile Detention Center (JDC), responsible for monitoring and supervising medical and health needs of residents, managing the medical room and managing and monitoring dispensing of resident medication. DUTIES (not exhaustive list, full job description is available upon request): Perform Health care screening training to staff. Complete Health Care Assessments Coordinate with facility MD Health Examinations Perform ongoing health assessments as needed Coordinate and administer care and treatment planning for chronic illnesses Review daily alerts and amend as necessary Receive, distribute and manage pharmaceuticals of residents
