Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Hour Night Shift (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves providing respiratory care to patients across various age groups in a 325-bed short-term acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy procedures and interventions in compliance with protocols.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and evaluate patients' pulmonary status.
• Participate in patient care and team meetings as part of the interdisciplinary support team.
• Provide care to patients including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Handle special procedures and use specialized respiratory equipment as required.
• Ensure proper documentation and charting in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and either CRT or RRT.
• Ability to float between like units as needed.
• Mask fitting and knowledge in procedures such as Cheyne-Stokes, Periodic Breathing, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, and O2 Saturation assessment are required.
