Precision MIG/TIG Fabrication Specialist

Step into a shop where craftsmanship and precision go hand in hand. At Kyron Tool & Machine, you’ll spend your day building high-quality components from print to finished weld—surrounded by a tight-knit, family-owned team in our modern 30,000+ sq. ft. facility.

You’ll begin with blueprints in hand—planning your sequence, setting up fixtures, and deciding whether the job calls for MIG or TIG. From there, you’ll move between steel, stainless, and aluminum projects, fitting and assembling parts, laying clean beads, and checking dimensions to ensure accuracy. When a component needs rework, you’ll step in with repair welding. Throughout the day you’ll safely handle materials using forklifts and overhead cranes, collaborate with machinists and other fabricators, and provide insight on upcoming welding opportunities and processes.

• MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Fabrication from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Reading/interpreting prints to determine fabrication and weld methods
• Measuring and verifying material and finished-part dimensions
• Inspecting weld quality, appearance, and tolerances
• Fitting, assembling, and fabricating welded components
• Repair welding on equipment and components
• Safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes

• 2+ years of professional welding/fabrication experience
• Strong MIG skills; TIG welding experience
• Ability to weld steel, stainless, and aluminum accurately
• Confident reading blueprints and translating them into fabrication steps
• Skilled in measuring, fitting, and fabrication practices
• Experience with common welding/fabrication equipment
• Robotic welding/automation exposure is a plus
• Programming or operating industrial robots preferred, not required
• Curiosity to learn and help implement new welding automation
• Ability to offer technical input on potential welding jobs
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
• Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
