Background Compliance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented Background Screening Specialists to join our team on a 6-month contract (with likely extensions). This role is critical to supporting our compliance and hiring processes during a period of high demand. The ideal candidates will be driven, proactive, and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify background screening reports for accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure timely processing of background checks in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues.

• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the screening process.

• Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders regarding screening status.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience reviewing background screenings is strongly preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Candidates must have experience working with high volumes, preferably in a large corporate setting, comfortable with fast paced and strict SLAs.
