Job Description:
My Gym is seeking a passionate and dedicated Gym Teacher to lead our childrens fitness programs. This role starts with being a LEAD TEACHER, and learning the program and the MY GYM philosophies. Once accomplished, you will be a strong lead teacher, promote sales, help manage staff, and create an engaging environment for children and their families. Your leadership will ensure high-quality fitness instruction while fostering a positive and supportive community. Job Summary:
The Gym Lead Teachers and Directors oversee the daily operations of the My Gym location, ensuring exceptional service for children and their families. This leadership role requires a blend of business management, sales, team leadership, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for childhood development and a strong desire to cultivate a vibrant community of families.

Responsibilities:

• Work Schedule: Committed to 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed
• Operational Oversight: Manage the center's daily operations, including teaching, children and parents, class schedules, staff training, and facility maintenance.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families to ensure their satisfaction and engagement. Maintain strong staff relations to build the Gym enrollment.
• Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies to boost enrollment and retain currently enrolled families.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff

Qualifications:

• Childcare Experience: Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Lead by example.
• Team-Oriented: Strong willingness to collaborate as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment
• Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage clearly with staff and clients
• Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Endurance: Capacity to stand and move for extended periods (up to 6 hours) while fulfilling job responsibilities
