Program Compliance MonitorThe Program Compliance Monitor ensures program operations align with federal, state, and local regulations, supporting high-quality, safe services for children and families. In this role you will:Monitor compliance with HSPPS, CACFP, Arizona licensing, and health/safety standardsConduct record reviews, audits, and on-site visitsIdentify areas of non-compliance and provide technical assistancePartner with leadership to develop and implement corrective action plansTrack compliance outcomes and follow up on required improvementsMaintain accurate documentation and reportingSupport continuous quality improvement across programsWhat it takes:Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Public Health, or a related fieldMinimum of two (2) years of experience in Head Start, early childhood education, childcare licensing, program monitoring, compliance, quality assurance, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS), CACFP regulations, Arizona Child Care Licensing requirements, and Caring for Our Children health and safety standardsExperience reviewing records, conducting audits, or monitoring activities, and maintaining compliance documentationStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database systems, and electronic record-keepingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and provide technical assistance to staffAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive informationAbility to successfully pass all required background checks and meet Head Start and Arizona licensing requirements for employmentPossess an insured & reliable vehicle and a valid AZ driver's licenseReliable transportation and the ability to travel to program sites as neededValid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card DES Criminal Affidavit Required AZ DHS Criminal History Affidavit Required FPC DPS Verification RequiredPreferred Qualifications:Three or more years of experience in Head Start program monitoring, compliance, or quality assuranceExperience preparing for or supporting federal Head Start reviews and state licensing inspectionsKnowledge of continuous quality improvement and risk assessment practicesKnowledge and Experience in Types of Adult LearningBilingual (English/Spanish)SWHD takes the health and safety of our employees and the communities we serve very seriously.
