Computational Physicist for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply computational physics expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract opportunity is suited to STEM professionals who use AI coding agents in active technical workflows, particularly for advanced computational problem-solving. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed walkthroughs of computational physics problem-solving in complex technical scenarios using AI coding agents.
Demonstrate agent-driven work with Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, including navigating large codebases, debugging nuanced issues, and developing sophisticated features.
Document the approaches, decisions, and methodologies used with AI agents for sequence generation, rather than chat-based tasks.
Evaluate and describe workflows in which agentic tools supported architectural changes or resolved ambiguous computational challenges.
Produce high-quality examples and technical feedback that inform AI model training.
Communicate findings and insights clearly and accurately in written and verbal formats.

Qualifications

Advanced hands-on computational physics experience, including a record of technical problem-solving and research.
Proficiency with Python and demonstrable real-world use of Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.
Current or recent STEM professional experience applying AI agents to technical workflows beyond basic coding support.
Ability to explain complex, end-to-end technical solutions and the agentic tools used throughout the process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
Experience creating agent-driven problem-solving sequences rather than relying on chat-based interactions.
Familiarity with debugging, architectural change management, and development in large-scale code environments using AI tools.

Work Terms

Remote contract engagement.

Compensation
