Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $19.18 - $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use handheld devices for delivery management, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform inspections before operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and cash at all times. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.). Fill out driver return slips and report vehicle maintenance, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tanks are filled and lock and secure vehicle at day’s end. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and other duties as assigned. Occasionally serve as a cashier or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. Requirements Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system. Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
