Warranty Field Specialist

Role The Warranty Field Specialist is responsible for performing on‑site inspections, assessments, and field coordination to ensure timely, safe, and high‑quality resolution of warranty issues by driving to job sites. This role serves as one of Willmeng’s primary field representatives for the Warranty Department, providing direct client communication, technical evaluations, trade coordination, and verification of completed work. The position plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, professional, and client‑centered warranty experience. What you will accomplish Strong communication and customer service skills. Primary Responsibilities Conduct field inspections and site assessments to evaluate warranty requests and identify scope, root cause, and corrective actions. Perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prior to field activities to ensure compliance with all safety protocols and site requirements (when applicable). Validate repair scope and root cause, documenting findings. Coordinate and schedule trade partners for repairs, site visits, and inspections. Perform site verification during and after repairs to confirm workmanship, quality, and compliance with standards. Provide clear, professional client communication, including scheduling and resolution confirmation. Capture and maintain photo and/or video documentation of conditions, progress, and completed repairs. Obtain client sign‑off verification upon completion of warranty repairs and inform warranty coordinator of close‑out documentation. Maintain accurate documentation within warranty tracking systems. Represent Willmeng professionally on all job sites, reinforcing safety, quality, and customer service standards. Field Inspections, Assessments & Root‑Cause Evaluation — 35% On‑site inspections. Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) (when applicable). Identifying scope, cause, and corrective actions. Trade Partner Coordination & Scheduling — 25% Coordinating trades. Scheduling repairs, site visits, and inspections. Ensuring work is completed correctly. Client Communication & On‑Site Representation — 20% Scheduling with clients. Providing updates. Representing Willmeng professionally on job sites. Maintaining accurate records within warranty tracking system. Updating warranty tracking system case by case. Completing warranty issue closeout documentation. Verification of Completed Work & Closeout — 5% Final site verification. Quality checks. Obtaining client sign‑off/verification. Safety & Compliance — 5% Commitment to Willmeng’s safety‑first culture. Complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and enforce site safety standards (when applicable). Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety practices. Coordination of warranty related issue location with client for potential safety and accessibility; coordinate all resources to maintain clear access and ensure safety and security of client, personnel and daily operations. Notify the safety department of all heavy lifting to include cranes, hoists and deep digging. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience across all scopes of work, systems, and local codes. Ability to walk up vertical ladders required. Bilingual a plus but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional presence in client‑facing and job site settings. Proven ability to assess field conditions, identify root cause, and recommend corrective actions; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active cases, coordinate trade partners, and meet deadlines. Commitment to safety, including OSHA familiarity and JHA experience; detail‑oriented documentation habits capturing field photos/videos and maintaining accurate records in tracking systems.
