Production Operator

Production Operator Location: Dallas, Texas. Shift: 1st. Pay: $20 - $22 per hour. Essential Functions Safely operate and monitor various food processing equipment, including mixing tanks, pumps, filling machines, and packaging machines. Set up machinery for production runs and make adjustments to maintain optimal performance. Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and specifications. Report deviations or defects and collaborate with the quality assurance team to resolve issues. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and SOPs. Maintain a clean, sanitary work area to prevent cross‑contamination and ensure food safety. Work with the team to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Minimize downtime by identifying and addressing equipment issues or production bottlenecks. Accurately record production data and batch information in logbooks and computer systems. Complete required reports and inventory forms in a timely and organized manner. Assist with the movement, loading, and unloading of raw materials and finished products. Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials to prevent mix‑ups and maintain inventory accuracy. Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency. Contribute ideas and participate in problem‑solving discussions to enhance productivity. Attend regular safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols. Actively identify potential hazards and promptly report incidents or near misses. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team leader. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related industry preferred, but not required. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Ability to lift at least 55 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
