Warehouse Worker

Material Handler

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:30-7:30p (12-hour shift)

3-paid breaks at 10a, 3p, and 5p

Pay: $16-$17.50 an hour

Responsibilities

• Label and scan products accurately and store them in the appropriate warehouse locations to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Identify, pull, and wrap the correct products according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Perform banding, strapping, and wrapping of materials, including wood products, to prepare items securely for shipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport equipment using appropriate tools and safe lifting techniques.
• Handle customer returns by completing required documentation and communicating with relevant team members to resolve issues.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and table saws in a safe and effective manner.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including checking in materials, staging outgoing orders, and maintaining organized work areas.
• Perform general labor tasks such as picking, packing, and packaging products to meet daily operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate labeling and documentation for all materials handled to support inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with wood products, warehouse equipment, and transport vehicles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
