EEG Technician - Neurophysiology/EEG - Part Time

Position Summary - M - F 8 am - 5pm, On-call rotation for nights / weekends - split amongst the 5 techs. To perform EEG tests as requested by physician. Key Responsibilities Perform EEG tests as requested by physician. Gather patient medical history, explain testing procedures and prepare the patient for procedure. Monitors the patient’s status and notes any abnormalities during testing. Reports findings to physician once testing is complete for further analysis. Enters appropriate data in computer modules. Verifies department inventory levels and reorders additional supplies as needed. Education/Experience/Licensure Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in clinical Neurophysiology preferred. Experience: Previous healthcare/ EEG experience preferred. Certification/Licensure: EEG Certification required. Registered EEG Technician preferred. BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire.
