Asset Specialist

San Mateo, CA (hybrid)

Role Overview

The Asset Specialist plays an important role in helping PlayStation Store deliver compelling, high-quality experiences to players around the world. Working across publishers and internal PlayStation teams, this role helps coordinate the collection, organization, and delivery of creative assets that support merchandising, editorial, promotional, and other Store programs.

You’ll work closely with teams including Global Content Services (GCS), Merchandising, Editorial, Creative, and Store Operations to help ensure the right assets are available, accurate, and ready when teams need them.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and excited to build their career at the intersection of games, digital content, and commerce.

What You’ll Be Doing

Asset Coordination & Delivery

• Coordinate the collection and delivery of creative assets from publishers and internal PlayStation teams for use across PlayStation Store programs and surfaces.
• Track asset requests, submissions, approvals, and deadlines to help ensure content is delivered accurately and on time.
• Review incoming assets against established specifications and requirements, identifying missing or incorrect materials and coordinating follow-up where needed.
• Maintain clear visibility of asset status across upcoming campaigns, promotions, editorial programs, and key Store moments.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner closely with GCS, Merchandising, Editorial, Creative, Store Operations, and other teams to understand upcoming asset needs and priorities.
• Act as a point of coordination between publishers and internal teams, helping ensure asset requirements and timelines are communicated clearly.
• Support teams across Merchandising and Editorial as they plan and execute programming at scale.
• Build strong working relationships with partners across global teams and time zones.

Process & Organization

• Maintain organized asset libraries, trackers, documentation, and workflows so teams can quickly identify and access the materials they need.
• Help document asset requirements, processes, and best practices for internal teams and external partners.
• Identify recurring asset gaps, bottlenecks, or process issues and surface opportunities to improve how assets are requested, collected, and distributed.
• Support the development of more scalable workflows and tools as PlayStation Store programming continues to evolve.

Quality & Store Readiness

• Help ensure assets meet PlayStation Store specifications, quality standards, and publishing requirements.
• Perform quality checks to identify issues before assets reach players.
• Coordinate updates or replacement assets when requirements change or issues are identified.
• Support consistent, high-quality execution across global Store experiences.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in digital content, creative operations, asset management, publishing operations, project coordination, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Clear, proactive communicator who is comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and external partners.
• Experience working with digital creative assets and familiarity with common image, video, and content formats.
• Comfort working with trackers, content management systems, project management tools, or similar operational workflows.
• Ability to identify problems, follow through on open items, and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in gaming and an understanding of the PlayStation ecosystem and audience is a strong plus.
• Highly collaborative, curious, and eager to learn and grow within a global organization.
• Bachelor's degree to equivalent preferred

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$94,500—$141,700 USD
