Project Development Manager

Our client, an international company in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Project Development Manager who will lead the development of wind, photovoltaic, and energy storage systems (BESS) across Poland.

The position offers full responsibility for renewable energy projects (OZE) at all stages of development, from the initial phase to the Ready-To-Build (RTB) stage, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading all development activities for wind, PV, and BESS projects (greenfield, mid-stage, mature) from the early development phase to the RTB stage in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external developers.
• Preparing and managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of individual stages in collaboration with relevant company departments.
• Coordinating activities with developers, administrative authorities, institutions, and consultants to obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and administrative approvals up to the RTB stage.
• Identifying, analyzing, and minimizing project risks (financial, legal, technical, environmental).
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improving processes related to project development and management, and supporting technical and financial optimization in the projects being managed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the development of renewable energy projects.
• Higher technical education (preferred fields: Energy, Land Engineering, Renewable Energy Sources, or related).
• Good knowledge of the full process of renewable energy project development.
• Documented ability to independently manage projects, including working with documentation, schedules, and budgets.
• Knowledge of energy regulations, administrative procedures, and grid connection processes.
• Excellent communication skills, high cooperation culture, and ability to build long-term business relationships.
• Experience working in an international environment or in a large energy company will be an additional advantage.
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel for business purposes and a driver’s license category B.
