General Job Description Join IES Residential as a Safety Coordinator - West Coast Operations. Be the driving force behind safety excellence across multiple states. Location & Travel Home Base: Las Vegas, NV Regional Travel: Salt Lake City, UT; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ (Travel required 50‑75%) Responsibilities Lead job site safety inspections and proactively identify risks Partner with leadership to build and reinforce a safety‑first mindset Deliver engaging safety trainings and lead impactful toolbox talks Investigate incidents and drive solutions that prevent future risks Support and participate in OSHA inspections with confidence Serve as the go‑to safety expert for both field teams and management Communicate safety policies clearly and effectively across all levels Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Minimum Years of Experience: 4–6 5+ years of safety experience (construction experience preferred) Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance OSHA 500 Certification (required) Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to influence, lead, and collaborate across teams Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Bonus Points Construction industry experience First Aid/CPR Instructor certification Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills Work Environment You will be in the field where it matters most – on active residential construction sites, working alongside crews, supervisors, and leadership. Expect a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment with travel across multiple states and exposure to real‑world job site conditions.
