Technical Field Service Sales Rep

We are looking for candidates with commercial laundry experience to fill the position of Technical Field Service Sales Rep with a company that manufactures and provides commercial laundry chemicals for clients in the Chicago/Hammond area (south side of Chicago, southeast to northwest Indiana).

Role Overview:

This role involves traveling within the designated territory, offering technical solutions, identifying sales opportunities, and building lasting relationships with customers. The Technical Field Service Sales Rep will be instrumental in promoting the companys products and delivering excellent service to commercial laundry clients.

Responsibilities:

• Market and sell the complete product line to current clients.
• Create a target list of potential customers, develop connections, and secure new sales.
• Maintain adequate sales coverage in the assigned region.
• Provide service, maintenance, and support to 6 10 accounts.
• Set up and program chemical dispensing equipment for clients washing machines.
• Lead the planning and implementation of new installations or conversions.
• Ensure all provided equipment is well-maintained.
• Adhere to the assigned budget for expenses.
• Handle past due accounts, if necessary.
• Minimize rush orders for products.
• Submit reports in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial laundry or chemical industry (or equivalent)
• Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus
• Preferably hold a Bachelor's Degree
• Military background is advantageous
• Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and order processing software.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of meeting physical requirements of the job such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in various conditions.
