Team members join a creative, service-focused environment that serves a diverse clientele seeking high-quality, personalized care. Role Description This full-time Hairstylist role is on-site at Edge Salon & Wellness in Chapel Hill, NC. The Hairstylist will provide professional hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each guest’s needs and preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with guests, recommending appropriate hair care and styling products, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation that reflects salon standards. The role also involves delivering attentive customer service, working collaboratively with other team members, and supporting the overall guest experience across the Edge brand offerings. Qualifications Professional hair service skills, including Hair Styling, Hair Care, and Cosmetology. Strong Customer Service abilities to provide a welcoming, personalized guest experience. Effective Communication skills to consult with guests and collaborate with team members. Valid cosmetology license in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one. Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a steady flow of appointments. Previous salon experience with cutting, coloring, and product recommendations is preferred. Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and adherence to salon hygiene and sanitation standards.
