Production Line Leader, Sylmar, CA Starting Pay $29.68 1st Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm As a Production Line Leader at PPG's Sylmar, CA Plant, you will be a crucial part of new product development process, ensuring that products transferred to full-scale manufacturing meet the customer requirements. You will operate laboratory equipment to gather data related to product key characteristics. You will gather raw materials needed for pilot or small batch manufacturing. You will work in a pilot production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place. You will record critical data to support scale up activities and first article inspection. You will prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers. You will ensure that the work cell remains safe, clean, and ready to use at all times. You will participate in project work related to product and process improvements for the site. Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to work flexible shifts, work any job, and work overtime as needed. Comfortable with computer data entry About Us
