Payroll Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, Google applications, Boyce software & TimePro Demonstrated ability to work with MCSC staff and the public in a positive and professional manner. Proven organizational skills as well as ability to work independently and to prioritize issues and tasks for completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Handles confidential information Processes payroll garnishments Generates weekly TimePro reports for payroll processing Prepares quarterly 941 to report Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare taxes Prepares W2’s Maintains data for all retirement benefits and submits payments to vendors Keeps non certified employee files up to date; personal illness, vacation, Jury Duty, etc. Completes all employee address/county changes in the software database Processes verification of employment requests and assists personnel with unemployment formsCompletes Transportation payroll as needed Files payroll forms Acts as a backup for Employee Hub & Workers Comp inquiries Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer or designee #J-18808-Ljbffr ReNEW Schools
