Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for an acute care radiology department.

Details

• Acute care radiology unit performing CT imaging for adult and pediatric patients
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Holiday and call coverage required
• 2 CT Techs scheduled for inpatient coverage, 1 for outpatient

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ARRT certification in CT required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synapsys equipment preferred

Additional Information

• Perform CT exams across all departmental areas for adult and pediatric patients
• No lead tech assigned in the unit; reports to Radiology Director/Manager
• In-house radiologist coverage 7 AM to 7 PM, on-call 7 PM to 7 AM
• Black scrubs required for all technologists
• Floor-specific orientation generally up to 2 weeks
• Radiation badge provided by staffing agency, not facility
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel positions
• Previous WVU Medicine employees or travelers must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers are limited to one year of cumulative work within the WVU system before requiring a 2-year break
