Divisional Director, Supply Chain Transformation

Reporting to the DVP Systems Engineering & Innovation, the Divisional Director of Supply Chain Transformation is responsible for leading the development, standardization, and performance improvement of supply chain capabilities across the division’s Business Units.This role has accountability for driving cross‑business alignment, deploying standardized processes and tools, and capturing measurable cost, efficiency, and working capital improvements. The Director will partner closely with Business Unit leadership, divisional staff, and corporate supply chain teams to identify opportunities, define targets, and lead execution plans that deliver sustainable results.Key Responsibilities:Divisional Supply Chain StrategyDevelop and execute a divisional supply chain strategy aligned with growth, margin expansion, and working capital objectivesAssess Business Unit supply chain capabilities to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunitiesDefine and implement the appropriate balance between standardization and local flexibilitySupport the development and deployment of corporate-wide commodity sourcing strategies and ensure alignment across Business UnitsAI ImplementationDevelop and execute AI strategies to drive efficiency and process improvements across the supply chainStandardize and scale proven AI use cases across Business UnitsEnsure sustainable adoption and integration of AI into operating processesSupplier Relationship Management & OptimizationDefine and implement a standardized Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworkEstablish supplier segmentation, governance models, performance metrics, and escalation processesLead supplier consolidation and rationalization initiatives to reduce cost and complexityDrive supplier performance improvements across quality, delivery, and total costStrengthen supplier risk management and ensure supply continuityCross-Business Unit LeverageIdentify and execute opportunities to leverage scale across Business Units in sourcing and procurementCoordinate cross-BU initiatives to improve purchasing effectiveness, logistics efficiency, and supplier performanceDevelop business cases, define targets, and lead execution to ensure benefits are realizedOperational Performance & MetricsEstablish divisional supply chain metrics, dashboards, and performance targetsImprove end-to-end supply chain performance, including sourcing, inventory, lead times, and on-time deliveryPartner with Business Units to enhance forecast accuracy, planning discipline, and working capital performanceLeadership & Change ManagementPartner with Business Unit leadership to understand capabilities, strengths, and constraintsLead change management initiatives to ensure adoption of standardized processes and toolsDevelop training materials, playbooks, and operating rhythms to build sustainable capabilityInfluence stakeholders across a matrixed, decentralized organizationPromote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-makingRequirements for Consideration:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline (required)Master’s degree preferred10+ years of leadership experience in supply chain or operations within an industrial manufacturing environmentProven experience leading multi-site or divisional transformation initiativesStrong background in supplier management, sourcing, and cost reductionDemonstrated ability to deliver measurable financial and operational resultsDemonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.
