Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to enhancing patient experience and operational efficiency within the healthcare facility.Greet and check in patients, verifying personal and insurance information accurately.Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.Assist healthcare providers by preparing examination rooms and collecting patient vital signs.Maintain and update patient medical records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.Process patient billing and insurance claims, coordinating with billing departments as needed.Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming.Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry.The required skills enable the Medical Assistant 3 Receptionist 3 to efficiently manage patient interactions and clinical support tasks, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
