Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing in Vernal, Utah. This position involves working on a 39-bed facilitys Med/Surg unit, providing high-quality patient care for diverse adult patient populations, including those with COPD, heart failure, orthopedic surgeries, and general surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Location: Vernal, Utah

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Minimum Experience: 0 years
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) candidate must possess prior to arrival at the facility
• Schedule: Night shifts, starting on 07/13/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2+ years of Med/Surg experience, certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, adaptable to float to other departments as needed, willing to work 4 shifts in the first half of the assignment, able to work at least 36 hours per week, and located more than 60 miles from the facility
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work four shifts initially and float to other departments to assist staffing needs
