Design Group is recruiting for a Production Intern to work closely with the Creative, Product Development and Quality Control Departments to document PDF initiatives and maintain production files and schedules. We can be flexible with scheduling within our normal office hours based on Intern's class schedule.

WHAT WILL I DO IN THIS ROLE?

Compile and maintain files for pdf programs Reformat files for pdf programs as needed Attend PDF program meetings and take notes. Provide meeting summary to PDF Program Project manager. Attend Construction meeting and take notes when necessary. Attend First Fitting and Final Fitting- Maintain design and pattern making notes on croquis. Schedule and attend Photo Garment Review; take notes as needed Create and Update Quality Control Charts as needed.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

Enrolled in a relevant four-year degree program such as Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Textile Science, or Pattern Making. Proficient in current versions of Microsoft Office. Experience in Adobe Illustrator, and In-Design on a Mac platform a plus. Excellent business communication both verbal and written. Ability to perform well under tight deadlines. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated. Ability to multi-task. Cumulative GPA of 3.0
