Mechanical Design EngineerDesign and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs and CAD models using Autodesk Inventor for a variety of projects including automation systems and tooling.Project Management: Lead full life cycle projects from initial concept through design, manufacturing, testing, and implementation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.Automation and Tooling: Develop innovative automation solutions and tooling designs to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct testing and analysis, and implement design iterations based on test results.Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design specifications, engineering reports, and user manuals.Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to production teams during the manufacturing process.Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project management.Software Skills: Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Vault. Experience with other CAD software is a plus.Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage full life cycle projects with a track record of successful project delivery.Automation and Tooling: Experience in designing automation systems and tooling solutions.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
