JOB SUMMARYUHY Consulting is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing team in Atlanta. This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes.The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.JOB DESCRIPTIONKey ResponsibilitiesLead finance transformation engagements from strategy through executionAssess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunitiesDesign and implement shared services models and operating structuresDrive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automationImprove core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilitiesPartner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goalsManage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomesSupport business development efforts, including proposals and client presentationsMentor and develop junior team membersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)5–10+ years (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experiencePrior consulting experience strongly preferredDeep expertise in:Finance and Accounting OperationsShared services design and implementationMonth-end close and record-to-report processesStrong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus)Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationshipsExcellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skillsWhat Sets You ApartAbility to translate strategy into actionable executionStrong business acumen with a focus on delivering measurable valueA collaborative mindset aligned with an “everyone sells” culturePassion for mentoring others and contributing to firm growthWhy UHY ConsultingOpportunity to lead high-impact transformation initiativesCollaborative, entrepreneurial cultureClear path for career growth and leadershipExposure to diverse clients and industriesAbility to shape and grow a key service offeringOther dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
