OTR Class A Dry Van Driver

Local Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety conscious team in San Jose, CA! This route runs from San Jose, CA to various customer sites and locations and is a home daily position. Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr About The Role Drivers average $75-$100K per year. Daily home time. Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time). Responsibilities Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Operates tractor-trailer units and other vehicles. Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units. Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads. Placard vehicles in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations. Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Class A CDL Required. 12+ months of Class A driving experience Required. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements Required. Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
