You are trusted to do great work for your clients, hit your deadlines, and go home. The Practice The docket is busy, fast-paced, and diverse. Specifically, you will defend state agencies, local counties, and sheriff's departments, alongside traditional insurance defense files involving premises liability and auto accidents. What You Will Do: Take the lead: Manage cases from initial pleadings through discovery and trial preparation. Command the room: Take and defend depositions confidently. Note: hands-on deposition experience is an absolute must for this role. Advocate: Argue motions, attend mediations, and develop winning strategies directly with your clients. What You Bring: Solid civil litigation experience (defense experience is highly preferred). Strong legal writing skills and natural courtroom composure. The Compensation & Perks: Target Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience. Candidates seeking above this range will be considered if they bring a portable book of business.
