Job Description

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Chicago West is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our growing team.

This role is focused on delivering high-quality specialty cleaning services for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and has the ability to manage cleaning jobs from start to finish.

Our services include carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, odor removal, and other specialty cleaning services.

Experience in professional cleaning is preferred, but we are willing to train a strong candidate who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and customer focused.

Responsibilities

Perform professional carpet cleaning
Perform upholstery and fabric cleaning
Perform tile and grout cleaning and sealing
Perform air duct and dryer vent cleaning
Perform odor removal and other specialty cleaning services
Inspect jobs and determine the appropriate cleaning process
Identify stains, soil conditions, fabric types, and surface-specific cleaning needs
Properly mix and apply cleaning products and solutions
Set up, operate, and maintain professional cleaning equipment
Protect walls, floors, furniture, and customer belongings during service
Move light furniture when necessary
Perform post-cleaning inspections and ensure quality standards are met
Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after service
Explain recommended services and maintenance options to customers
Identify opportunities for additional services when appropriate
Complete job notes, photos, and work orders using company software
Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies
Track inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered
Assist with restoration or other field services as needed
