Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs to design individualized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methods to promote improvement in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and essential daily activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and their loved ones on therapy techniques that facilitate continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Document client development and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure patients remain on track

Educational Background

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported

Professional Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
