Part-Time Work Study Position

This is a part-time position, on average 10 hours per week, open to current Lackawanna students only. As a work study, assistance will be provided within a designated department to college staff and peers. Information will be shared with the correct parties and work as a member of the team to increase coverage of the office and support the department through work on day-to-day tasks and projects or initiatives.

Key competencies include proficient interpersonal communication skills, maintaining confidentiality as defined by Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a team, ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain office records and information, and attention to detail.

Primary responsibilities include general administrative tasks such as filing and organization of student wellness inventory and storage spaces, designing, executing, posting, and taking down flyers and materials about SWP events, assisting with program planning and execution, beta testing SWP technologies such as surveys, preparing materials for events, and other duties as assigned by the Director or Coordinator.

Pay is $13.00 per hour. Hours are 10 hours per week between 8am and 4 pm, unless otherwise authorized. Off campus dates and times are designated by your supervisor as needed and subject to change without notice. Must be enrolled at Lackawanna College. No experience requirement.
