Join a dynamic team providing comprehensive occupational therapy services aimed at enhancing patients' functional independence across a broad age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric populations. This role involves assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and thorough documentation to support patient progress.

Education and Certification

Must hold current OT/L licensure as required by the regional occupational therapy board. FIM credentialing is mandatory within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Candidates will have up to three attempts to pass the credentialing exam.

Experience and Skills

Proven ability to select and apply age-appropriate functional goals and treatment techniques. Strong interpersonal skills to foster cooperative relationships with patients and colleagues. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.

Physical and Clinical Requirements

Must be capable of oral communication, reading, writing, hearing, and visual assessment of patient status. Physical demands include standing, bending, stooping, lifting, turning, twisting, sitting, and walking frequently. Ability to safely transfer and transport patients of varying body weights and compositions is required. Proficiency in the use and manipulation of clinical equipment is necessary.

Training and Compliance

Completion of Evacuation Training and training in Restraint, Seclusion, and Safety Devices is required for all clinical staff working in inpatient and outpatient settings.
