Financial Controller Assistant at Claro Insurance

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with strong expertise in financial controlling, accounting, and executive support . This hybrid position combines overseeing company finances with providing direct assistance to senior leadership. The role requires someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both strategic financial oversight and day-to-day administrative tasks. This is a Miami-based position and requires in-person availability. Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking. Prepare and maintain financial statements, cash flow reports, and monthly/quarterly P&L. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies. Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and banks. Manage payroll, commissions, and reimbursements. Executive / Personal Assistant Provide direct support to executives with scheduling, travel coordination, and calendar management. Manage both personal and business expense accounts. Draft presentations, reports, and meeting briefs. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Act as a key liaison with internal teams and external partners. Operations & Support Assist with vendor and contract management. Provide administrative support to ensure organizational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or bookkeeping . Previous experience as an executive or personal assistant preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting tools . Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and multitasking abilities. Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
