What You'll Do

• Collaborate with residents and healthcare teams to provide compassionate hospice and palliative care
• Assist in patient assessments and develop care plans in partnership with the team
• Support physicians and residents during the week, with opportunity for involvement in patient rounds
• Contribute to pain management and symptom control strategies
• Follow facility protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
• Document patient interactions accurately and timely

What You Need

• Virginia medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in hospice or palliative care (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently within a team setting
