On Call Registered Nurse - $5k Sign On Bonus

Heritage Hospice

Job Description

Heritage Hospice is looking for an On Call Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team! This licensed RN provides weekday after hours and/or weekend support to the hospice program. This includes PRN patient visits, admissions and discharges, and office assistance.

Job Highlights:

-Schedule - 7days on, 7 days off

-Salaried role (40hrs)

-PTO and sick days

-Company paid life insurance

-$5,000 sign on bonus

Position Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana
Hospice, Home Health, or Long-Term Care experience preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Must have knowledge & commitment to Hospice Philosophy of Care
Must be flexible & cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
CPR Certified

Physical Qualifications:

Must be able to speak and hear in a manner understood by most persons
Must be able to travel to patient’s place of residence
Must be able to lift and transfer patients, using proper body mechanics
